WAR
WAR Why war?... Why war when we claim that we believe in respect for life?... Why war when we say we believe in God's Command: THOU SHALL NOT KILL...? Why war when we say that we believe in Jesus who also said: LOVE YOUR ENEMY...? Why war when we express the wish to see an end to suffering?...why, why?...
Killing our brothers and sisters for land, power, gold, money, democracy, convenience or to protect the faith/religon, will always generate more injustices, more violence and more wars. Leaders try to justify their declaration of war but war leaves too many deaths and too much suffering to justify the action. (70 million human beings suffered and died from wars between 1914-1945 alone) and that does not include the hundreds of soldiers and others (children, women) who were destabilized emotionally for the rest of their life.
When will humankind start acting on its beliefs?... When will we start being channels of peace and justice instead of war?...when, when?...
