HEALING

HEALING     We are all in need of healing. Sometimes we need physical healing from illness or from a handicap. Other times, we need psychological/emotional healing from abuse, from grief, from fear and from hurt feelings. We also need spiritual healing from discouragement, from despair, from doubt and faith crisis...the list goes on as we journey...

Where is the Source of our healing?...This Source of LOVE reside within us, among us, in nature and everywhere....However, if we visualize this Source as being far away outside of ourselves, the healing is very difficult. For unexplainable reasons, healing can be instant or progressive.

Is all physical healing realized?...No, but one is always assured of a spiritual healing by finding courage to accept the reality of our situation...Trees grow strong from the wind and storms...


Jesus went about teaching, preaching and healing all kinds of disease among the people...  Matt 4:23

Your faith has made you well...Lk 17:19

Be still and know that I am God... Ps 46:10

But where do we find the courage to forgive and to love everyone?  It comes from Spirit, from our True Self, our Divine Soul-Self present in everyone and where in nature we connect also with it. Healing, like salvation, is not earn, it is freely given because the Indwelling Spirit of Love/Mercy endures forever...and living in that awareness brings us peace and healing.

SURRENDER...LET GO...ACCEPT

SURRENDER is  not  giving up as when an army submits to the other side. Surrender means letting our Higher Self  (called the Universal Force/Flow by Singer) take control of our life.  For that to happen, we have to let go the voice of ego ( voice of resistance) chattering in our mind wanting to control events. For years I had been willing to let go of my personal preferences and focus on doing the absolute best I could with what life presented to me...a life built for me, not by me. Challenging situations create the force needed to bring about change. I was learning to sit quietly in the midst of the howling winds and wait and to see what constructive action was being ask of me.    Michael A. PARADOX

PARADOX    According to the dictionary, a paradox  is a statement appearing contradictory, yet true. Life is a paradox because many events seeming disastrous, bring us meaning and joy. New life means death to behavior destroying us. We need both solitude and community to survive. Breathing to be whole requires both inhaling and exhaling...Negative and positive events are part of life and therefore requires no judging.  The wisdom is in resisting to label them bad or good but simply in accepting the event as it is. Darkness often brings light. Our struggles, crosses, suffering, pain,  can be transforming. (see yin/yang.... two opposite but complementary, bringing balance to life) If we can live with the tension of opposites, we might find freedom and hope because in the midst of tension, Someone is there taking care of us... In our struggle, we eventually see the blessing, the Grace moment, the God moment. Like Jonas, I find myself traveling toward my destiny in the belly of paradox
